Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood
Project Learnin Tree (Pre-K - 2nd)
This workshop is an overview of the NEW early childhood activities that include music, movement, language arts, science and math skills development. It is an orientation to how these materials for young children can be used to meet the State Standards. There is time allowed to try out activities and meet with other educators interested in involving children in nature and environmental education. Free copies of the PLT activity guide, Music CD, and additional materials to help you add "EE" to your curriculum or program will be provided.

This workshop explores Charting Diversity. Birds and Worms. Pollution Search and more. There is a total of 96 hands-on interdisciplinary activities in PLT's K-8 guide. The K-8 Guide covers such topics as water and air quality, ecology, urban environments, and recycling and can be used to meet the State Standards. There is time allowed to try out activities and meet with other educators interested in involving children in nature and environmental education. Free copies of the PLT activity guide and additional materials to help you add "EE" to your curriculum or program will be provided.
